With this rainy fall weather upon us, I have been reminiscing about the awesome summer we had! Remember when you returned to school in the fall and got to write a report on “What I Did This Summer”…well, here is my report!
Had wonderful friends visit from out of town.

Went scotter riding with friends around our beautiful city more times than I can count.

Went tubing down Cowichan River, twice.

Volunteered on a construction project in Lake Cowichan.

Hiked this beautiful island. Well, not the whole island…just different parts of the island.

Had a chili cook-off in our back yard.

And the winning team was…Chris’ team!…The 3 Elvis’…Wahoo…congrats!…And my girlfriend Joy rocks the Elvis cape and glasses!

Fishing off the rocks at Otter Point.

Volunteering on a construction project on Saltspring.

Helped my friends paint their house.

As a thank you gift, my friends bought me my own fishing rod and tackle box. So, we went fishing off of Albert Head Lagoon. What a beautiful day and have you ever seen so many birds in one place?

Went with friends to Saltspring Island…went to the market and a wine tasting.

Layed sod in the front yard.

Add several Bar-b-ques, kareoke parties and more yard work and that is pretty much what we did this summer!
