Yes…I’m finally back!

Wow. I don’t even know where to start. Can you believe it’s been a year and a half since my last blog post? Please forgive my absence. So much has happened…both good and bad. It can be difficult sometimes to continue to be positive, strong and hopeful while undergoing stressful times and life can become overwhelming (mine did). However, no matter what kind of trying circumstances may come our way we must never give in to discouragement and negativity! Sure, we all get down at times but if we could just remember to stop for a moment, look around us and focus on what’s great, then suddenly, what’s really important in life comes back into perspective. So, here I am, back to blogging, remembering that Life IS Sweet and savoring each moment!

Congrats Toni!…please email your address or particulars on how I can get your gift to you .

Now I wanted to share with you what I have been working on lately…

When I was a teenager my mom taught me how to sew, I made shorts and t-shirts, doll clothes, curtains, pillows and even my own suit (skirt and jacket). Then I just stopped. Recently I went shopping for fancy pillows only to see how expensive they were. So, I decided to try my hand at sewing again (Surely, I could remember how to sew four straight lines).

And here it is…five beautiful fancy pillows that make me happy!

So…for todays contest…I would like to know, besides scrapbooking, what other creative endevour makes you happy?

Post your comment for a chance to win this…

Making Memories alphabet and embellishments, Tim Holtz mask and a stamp set.

I know most of you will think I’m crazy…but…I LOVE the snow!

It makes me feel like a kid again. I love going for walks in it, snowball fights, playing with Stanley (he loves it too) and then coming inside wrapping myself in a blanket and reading, watching a movie, or scrapbooking.

Of course, I realize I can’t do this every day and real life involves driving and working in it, which is not that much fun.

However, it is beautiful…isn’t it!?!

Now for the contest part…remember Monday thru Friday of this week I will be giving away a prize a day!

All you have to do is post a comment  each day. I will ramdonly draw a winner from the comments and post the winner the next day.

Post a comment everyday for more chances to win!

A package of 50 sheets of Canon Photo Paper, Me & My Big Ideas Embellishments and Prima Flowers!

Today…let me know what your favorite thing to do on a SNOW DAY is!

Contest Annoucement!

As many of you know, I have been very negligent with my blogging.

So, I am have decided to try to redeem myself and show appreciation for my readers by having a contest…actually…5 contests!!!

Starting on Monday, November 22 through to Friday, November 26 I will be giving away a prize a day!

All you have to do is check out my blog each day and leave a comment. It’s that easy!

Another Vintage Bicycle!

Many of you already know that Chris and I have a little obssesion with vintage bicycles, well, all bicycles for that matter! And I just have to show you Chris’ latest find. He found it on Used Victoria for only $40.00. It is a childrens 1960’s bicycle from Poland.

We gave the bicycle to our good friend Leah, who is very tiny (we love you Leah!) and has trouble finding a bike to fit her, not to mention a vintage bike.

How cute is she and the Bicycle!?! And she LOVES it!
